The County Government of Kajiado, through the Climate Change Unit, has completed the Environmental and Social screening for the proposed 2024/2025 Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) projects.
The exercise was conducted in collaboration with officers from the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), the Social Services Unit, and the County Water Services Department (CWSD).
The team visited project sites across the county to review potential risks and confirm that each proposal meets the Environmental and Social Risk Management (ESRM) standards required under the FLLoCA framework.
