Kajiado County to host business exhibition to empower local entrepreneurs

The Kajiado County Government, in partnership with business organizations in Kenya, will hold a three-day business exhibition at Selelo Mall in Kitengela from October 23 to 25, 2025. The exhibitions are organized by TJ Premier Events Ltd in partnership with the Department of Trade, Investment & Enterprise Development for Kajiado County.

The event aims to provide a platform for small-scale traders, youth, and persons with disabilities (PwDs) to showcase their businesses and learn ways to improve and expand their ventures. It will also offer training sessions on how entrepreneurs can access funds to sustain and grow their enterprises.

According to the county’s communication, the exhibition will combine displays and training activities meant to encourage innovation, promote inclusion, and strengthen business networks. Traders will have a chance to present their products and ideas to potential customers, partners, and supporters from within and beyond the county.

The county government says the exhibition is part of its continued effort to promote enterprise and economic empowerment among local residents. By bringing together different groups of entrepreneurs, the event is expected to create a space for sharing ideas and practical experiences that can help strengthen the business community.

Through such initiatives, Kajiado County hopes to support long-term business growth, open up opportunities for learning, and help small traders position themselves for success in an increasingly competitive market.
