The County Government of Kajiado has announced plans to carry out beaconing of plots at Ewuaso Trading Centre to help clearly mark plot boundaries. The exercise is scheduled to take place from January 28 to February 5, 2026, and will involve survey and planning officers on the ground.
In a public notice, the County Department of Lands, Physical Planning, Housing, Urban Development and Municipalities said all affected plot owners must be physically present at their respective plots during the exercise. Owners have been asked to carry key documents to allow the process to proceed smoothly.
According to the notice, plot owners are required to present an original letter of allotment, a rates payment receipt and a copy of their national identity card. County officials emphasized that the presence of owners is important to avoid disputes and ensure accuracy during the beaconing.
