A deadly collision in Kimalat area of Kaputiei North on Tuesday left two people dead after a saloon car and a motorbike crashed head-on along the Isinya–Kitengela road. Authorities confirmed that the two riders on the motorbike died at the scene.
The accident drew immediate concern from the area MCA, Joshua Olowasa who visited the site and criticised the continued rise in crashes along the stretch. He linked the pattern to reckless driving and what he described as slow response from national government agencies in addressing road safety gaps, especially the absence of speed bumps despite repeated appeals.
He further called on area MP Kakuta Maimai to move with urgency and push for corrective measures that could help prevent more fatalities on the busy route.
