Kajiado West MP George Sunkuiya on the evening of November 14 commissioned the construction of Phase I of the Saikeri Secondary School project valued at Ksh 10 million, marking an important step in expanding education access across the constituency.
The new secondary school is being built from the ground up and is expected to support a smooth transition for learners moving to secondary level. Its establishment responds to growing enrolment in primary institutions and the increasing need for more secondary school spaces within the Saikeri community.
The project is expected to reduce congestion in neighboring schools and shorten the long distances many students currently cover to access secondary education. It also aligns with national efforts to improve the transition rate from primary to secondary education while promoting long term academic growth in the region.

These investments underline ongoing efforts to strengthen education facilities and support both learners and teachers across Kajiado West.
The Saikeri Secondary School project together with the upgrades at Ilkilorit Primary School reflect MP Sunkuiya’s commitment to improving education infrastructure and supporting the academic success of future generations.
