Ngong town is fast reshaping into a modern urban hub after a new tarmacked link road connecting Ngong Bounty, Ngong Law Courts, the NG-CDF Offices and Kahara Road was officially commissioned on November 11, 2025 by Kajiado North MP Onesmus Ngogoyo. The newly completed road marks a milestone in the area’s transformation and stands as a symbol of progress, accessibility and local empowerment.
The road, which stretches across one of Ngong’s busiest zones, is expected to ease congestion, shorten travel times and strengthen access to public offices and the local court. For traders, commuters and service providers, the smooth asphalt surface offers both convenience and renewed confidence in local infrastructure. It also enhances business connectivity between residential estates, public institutions and Ngong’s fast-growing commercial centre.
During the commissioning ceremony, MP Ngogoyo engaged with residents, listening to their views and sharing details of ongoing development projects aimed at improving living standards in Kajiado North. He emphasized that the link road forms part of a wider effort to modernise infrastructure, promote enterprise and ensure that no community is left behind in the county’s growth journey.

Over the past few years, the MP has overseen several key projects under the NG-CDF framework. These include the construction of an ICT hub in Nkaimurunya Ward to equip youth with digital skills and create job opportunities, the installation of streetlights in Ngong town to improve security, and continuous support for school infrastructure upgrades across the constituency. Each of these initiatives complements the new road by building a stronger foundation for social and economic development.
Residents have lauded the project for its potential to attract investment and improve service delivery. Improved road networks not only connect communities but also enhance access to healthcare, education and markets. However, continued maintenance and sustainable drainage systems will be essential to preserve the quality and longevity of the new road as Ngong continues to expand.
The commissioning of the Ngong Bounty – Ngong Law Courts – NG-CDF Offices – Kahara Road link reflects the spirit of collaboration between local leadership and the community. It is a clear statement that progress in Kajiado North is being driven by vision, inclusivity and action.
