School Principal under scrutiny amid exam irregularity allegations

A school in Isinya, Kajiado County, has been drawn into controversy after its principal allegedly fled from the school following an examination irregularity. The institution, situated along the Isinya–Namanga Road, is a boys’ boarding secondary school known for strong academic performance and modern facilities.

It is alleged that the principal was found projecting answers to candidates on a large television screen during the national examination. The incident caused panic within the school as invigilators and supervisors tried to restore order. Police officers are said to be pursuing the principal, who reportedly left the premises shortly after the act was discovered.

Action has been taken by TSC by relieving him of his duties as the examination centre manager. His deputy has reportedly been appointed to take over management of the ongoing examination process to ensure continuity at the centre.

Education officials in the area have been following up on the situation as police continue with investigations to establish how the malpractice occurred and whether other members of staff were involved. Security around the school has been heightened to safeguard the integrity of the remaining examinations.

The school, known for producing high-achieving students, now faces a reputational challenge following the allegations. Investigations are said to be ongoing, with more details expected to emerge once police and education authorities conclude their findings.
