A wave of excitement is sweeping across Kajiado County as the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Kajiado Branch confirmed the promotion of 17 football clubs to the County League. The eagerly awaited announcement, issued on October 21, 2025, also listed 12 teams relegated to their respective sub-county leagues after a spirited season of competition.
According to the statement signed by FKF Kajiado Branch General Secretary Nathaniel Shukuruh, the promotions and demotions mark the official close of the season and the beginning of a reshaped county football landscape. “Any other promotion procedure will be done on merit,” read part of the notice, signaling a continued focus on fair play and performance.
In Kajiado Central Sub-County, Oiti FC, Texas FC, Esukuta, Simba FC and AIC Namanga stood out as the season’s top performers. Their consistent victories and teamwork earned them a coveted spot in the upcoming County League campaign.
Kajiado North Sub-County produced another set of formidable teams including Vetstars FC, Nkoroi FC, Youngster FC and Ongata Academy, all of whom displayed outstanding discipline and tactical strength throughout the season.
From Kajiado East, the newly promoted sides are Maasai Flowers, Tipping FC, CF Park and Tinga FC, while Kajiado South will now be represented by Elevenstars, Youngstars, Shining FC and Loolie FC. These teams are now expected to test their strength at a higher level of competition.

The demotions, however, came as a setback for several sides. Among those dropping to sub-county leagues are Umma University, Pneumatika, Millennium Sportif and Kahanya FC in Zone A. Others include Springers FC, Oltepesi FC, Entonet FC, Blackburners, Kimana Kili and Elerai Satao. Bullrangers and Kiserian United from Zone C will also be playing in the lower division next season.
The FKF Kajiado Branch also noted that certain teams from Kajiado East Zone B and C are still under review for possible promotion based on merit. The adjustments aim to maintain balance and competitiveness across all zones within the county.
The promotion and relegation process reflects FKF Kajiado’s commitment to nurturing football talent at the grassroots level. The move is also expected to bring renewed energy to the County League as fans anticipate more intense matches and rivalries in the coming season.
As the new league structure takes shape, all eyes now turn to the upcoming fixtures where the newly promoted teams will battle established county giants for dominance and recognition in Kajiado’s ever-growing football scene.
