The Kajiado County Assembly has announced an approval hearing for Naomi Pilale Parinkoi, who has been nominated to serve as County Executive Committee (CEC) Member for Public Service, Social Services, Citizen Participation and Inspectorate Services.
In a public notice, the Assembly said it had received formal communication from Governor Joseph ole Lenku regarding the nomination. The vetting will be conducted by the Assembly’s Committee on Appointments on February 19, 2026, at 9.00 a.m. at the County Assembly Chambers in Kajiado.
The approval process is anchored in Article 179(2)(b) of the Constitution, Section 35(2) of the County Governments Act, 2012, and the Public Appointments County Assemblies Approval Act, 2017, as well as the Assembly’s Standing Orders.

Ahead of the hearing, the nominee is required to collect and complete the prescribed questionnaire from the Office of the Clerk of the County Assembly during official working hours. The duly filled questionnaire, together with certified copies of her curriculum vitae, academic certificates, professional credentials and other testimonials, must be submitted to the Clerk’s office by February 18, at 2.00 p.m.
Parinkoi is also required to present valid clearance certificates from the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB). Original documents will be presented to the committee during the hearing.
Where a nominee holds foreign academic qualifications, the Assembly has directed that recognition and equation from the Commission for University Education (CUE) be obtained and submitted before the vetting exercise.
The Assembly has invited members of the public to attend the approval hearing and to submit any relevant information regarding the suitability of the nominee. Such submissions must be in the form of sworn statements or affidavits supported by documentary evidence and delivered to the Clerk’s office by February 18 at 5.00 p.m.
