Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku has nominated Naomi Pilale Parinko to serve as the County Executive Committee (CEC) Member in charge of Public Service, Social Services, Administration, and Inspectorate.
The nomination, made in accordance with Article 198 of the Constitution of Kenya, now awaits vetting by the County Assembly before formal appointment. In the meantime, CEC Member Judy Pere will continue to hold the docket in an acting capacity.
Parinko’s nomination follows the exit of Kisota Asotwa, who had earlier been transferred from the Finance docket to head Public Service, Social Services, Administration, and Inspectorate but was dismissed only weeks later. Asotwa had served as CEC for Finance for eight years under Governor Lenku before the transfer.

Governor Lenku said the appointment is part of efforts to strengthen service delivery in the county. “The County Assembly is duly mandated to undertake the vetting process for the nominee prior to her appointment,” he noted.
The development marks a significant change in the county’s executive leadership, with residents now awaiting the Assembly’s vetting outcome to determine whether Parinko will officially take over.
