Ngong Member of County Assembly (MCA) Mbiriri Mwaura extended his support to Grade 6 and Grade 9 learners as they began their national examinations. The MCA visited several schools within his ward where he offered words of encouragement to the candidates and shared a special donation of cakes and milk to boost their energy and morale during the exam period.
The initiative was part of a broader community effort to inspire learners to remain focused and confident as they undertake the national assessments. The MCA’s visit brought a sense of motivation and reassurance, especially for pupils sitting the Kenya Junior Secondary Education Assessment (KJSEA) and the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).
Mwaura explained that the act of sharing food items symbolized care, unity and faith in the abilities of young learners in Ngong. He emphasized the importance of both academic and emotional support, noting that success in education is strengthened when communities stand together behind their students. His gesture also reflected his continued commitment to promoting education as a foundation for long-term development in the area.
